Week 27
I think I can say its been a pretty good week. Even if Dylan is still getting over his cold, he's been happy and pretty settled. We've even made the transition to 1 day sleep pretty easily which I'm kinda amazed by. Our days at home where we tried the one sleep have resulted in some pretty big naps. Naps around 3 hours roughly, with one just yesterday for closer to 4 hours!! He had his first attempt of the one nap at daycare on Friday and it went great!! He was down for 3 hours and apparently all the carers were amazed. They said they kept going in to check on him and make sure he was still breathing as he was in such a deep and peaceful sleep. What a good lad!
Last night we had a birthday dinner out for Dylan's Pa. It was the first time we've taken him out for a while. I prepared by packing some snacks just in case there were some delays with dinner. And there were, so we did have a few tears and tanty's but a chunk of tasty garlic bread soon fixed that. We decided we would try ordering Dylan a meal from the kids menu. Great meal and great size, but where are the veggies??? What's up with kids meals and no veggies?? We added a few veggies from our plates, and he ate and ate and ate!! So all up he filled his belly with a handful of sultanas, half an arrowroot biscuit, a big slice of garlic bread, an entire kids meal of fish cocktails and chips, and veggies. He topped it off with a small slice of birthday cake a bit later!! What a garbage guts!! Ha ha
