Dylan - You are such a caring big brother to Tristan.  You took care of him while your Daddy and I were working together in the garage. You pushed him around gently on the driveway in the cozy coupe car.  He just loves the attention you give him.  After you finished pushing him, you jumped on the old tricycle and rode around beside him, all smiles.   A portrait of my children, once a week, every week in 2017 Tristan - You LOVED your ride in the cozy coupe car.  Dylan talked to you the whole time he pushed you up and down the driveway.  There was some screeching tyres sound effects and I think it just made us all giggle.   A portrait of my children, once a week, every week in 2017 Bel

Dylan - Some days, you are my little shadow. Following me where ever I go, what ever I do, you are there. You are still my little mumma's boy. Ever so affectionate.  You randomly tell me you love me and give me a big hug.  Some days, it's just what I need to hear. A portrait of my children, once a week, every week in 2017 Tristan - My goodness you are growing up.  Pulling yourself upright is ever so much fun now.  You can stand for much longer periods of time, and the daredevil in you holds on with one hand which makes me race over to catch you before you fall.  Those top teeth are moving down now and so when you are happy with yourself, you give us the sweetest big cheesy grins. Lately I've spent quite a bit of time sitting on the floor playing with both the boys. Plenty of cuddles, handling toys, smooches and wiping up dribbly messes goes on in the lounge room.  With Tristan now pulling himself upright a fair bit I'm constantly hovering over him, ready to catch him as he tumbles to the floor.  I figured this week's shot could be something a bit different, but just another part of these two boys that I've been looking down at this week.  I had to google the right term, and it turns out they are called "hair whorls" or "crowns". Dylan - My big boy with the much rarer double whorl. It's just so sweet! A portrait of my children, once a week, every week in 2017 Tristan - Just a simple clockwise single whorl for you baby boy! Dylan - I just love this one!  It was a windy day and you were playing with the peg basket while I was hanging out the washing.  You had things all piled up until a big gust of wind blew it all down.  Lucky I had the camera ready to see you getting so cranky at that naughty wind! A portrait of my children, once a week, every week in 2017 Tristan -  On the 5th of Jan you got your 4th tooth cut through your top gum.  You seemed to have a bit better time with this one, and thank goodness for that!  You are chewing anything and everything at the moment to get some relief from those teeth.  Even pegs are fair game apparently.  This past weekend you started pulling yourself upright.  I knew it was coming as you'd been attempting it for a while.  Just in case you were successful we moved the mattress of your cot down to the lower level during the week.  Why are you growing up so quick baby boy?? Here we go again!!  Will try to commit to another year of photos of the kiddies. Not looking forward to trying to get it done once I'm back at work, but hopefully I'll get a few minutes to myself each week at the very least. Dylan - Your Daddy got some espresso cups for Christmas which you thought were just perfect for your own "coffee" (babycino).  They are just like the ones you get in the cafĂ©.  So this past week with everyone home, morning coffee time has meant you got your coffee in a special cup and topped with marshmallows just for that extra sugar hit!  You thought it was the ants pants!  Of course your latest toys had to come to the table too, a hulk figure, and the first lego set made from your Christmas stash.  My sweet boy with the curly messy bed hair. A portrait of my children, once a week, every week in 2017 Tristan - This past week you've been a cranky boy due to teething.  You got your 3rd tooth through and after a day or 2 after it cut t
