Week 31

We've tried to make the most of the beautiful sunny weather today as best as we can with nasty colds all round.  We had some things to pick up this morning, and on our way home we thought we might stop off at the park so Dylan could have a ride of his trike. Just as we were getting close to the park I peeped over my shoulder to see him fast asleep. So the park was off! He was so sleepy as we got in the door that he didn't even make it to lunch.  Nearly 3 hours later he emerged bright eyed, hungry and ready for that trip to the park!

He loved doing laps of the walking track around the park. Lucky his little trike has a parent push handle cos he certainly got distracted by the woofy dogs, the kids on bikes and scooters, the joggers, the soccer players, and the balls being kicked left, right and centre.

We all had a great time at the park, and Dylan just didn't want to stop or get off his trike. Eventually we decided that the afternoon chill was setting in and it was definitely time to head off. We didn't head straight home though, we figured it was time for a treat and popped in for deliciously decadent hot chocolates from the Oliver Brown Belgian Chocolate Cafe just up the road. Bliss!
