Its all about to change

I had my last proper 2 day working week this week.  Next week it all starts... daycare... 3 days at work... hubby back at work full time.  Everything is changing, but I'm kinda excited by it all.

This week I had a great catch up with some of the mums and bubs from our playgroup. One of those mums, my dear friend Kim and her family are up and moving to NZ for a change of scenery. We'll miss her and her cutie pie Lucas at our catch ups.  What a difference everyone and everything will be when we do see her again.  Our bubs won't be so weeny anymore!

Dylan had his orientation at daycare on Thursday.  He joined in with their morning tea (yay for food!) and then headed outside for some playtime.  He enjoyed checking out their toys and spent plenty of time watching what the other babies were doing.  All the carers seemed lovely.  I'm hoping Dylan will settle in ok.  I know I'll cry when it's time to leave him there next week, but at least I know he'll be well looked after.

I downloaded a few photos from my camera this week, mostly taken just after Christmas.  There were a few shots that just made me smile so I figured I should share...

    He's looking so grown up. Have you labelled all his belongings ready for daycare? How did daycare time come round so fast?

      He can't look grown up, he's my baaaaaaby!!!
      Labels are almost all done. Clothes are done except for a few in the wash. Had to go buy an extra sippy cup and formula dispenser today so they will get labelled later. Time has flown! I got his place organised in November and since then he's crawled, walked and so much has happened yet it feels like yesterday!!

    Look at all those teeth ... when Alex turned 1 he had 1 tooth ... yep 1 tooth.

      Only 1 tooth?? Wow ! That would be a gummy smile for a 1 year old! He certainly caught up though! xx

Week 34 Unfortunately things fell apart during the week.  I was hoping that we were all on the mend but it quickly became apparent that we weren't, and we went downhill quickly.  There's been more whinging and moaning and sleepless nights and day naps and the tissues... boxes and boxes of tissues.  It's just no fun.  When the sleepless nights turn into cranky days, you just lose your shit sometimes. You yell. You yell at anyone who's there. You say things I'm sure you wouldn't normally say if you were well.  And decisions, oh my god, why is it so friggin hard to make a decision??? Like what should we have for dinner? Or should I put that other load of washing on or will it piss down with rain?? Overall not a bad week here. We've had a few outings, been on some walks and a 4th birthday party.  Its been a mostly wet weekend, and the perfect opportunity for cuddles on the lounge with my boys, and a little me time.  I've got the best excuse for some quiet days at home.  Hubby bought me (or was instructed to buy me) the box set of the Offspring TV show on DVD.  I love it! I've gone back to the beginning to watch the early years and see the episodes I missed out on, and to refresh my memory on the ones I saw.  So looking forward to the new season starting in a few weeks! Tristan has been pretty good this past week.  Napping has been reasonable and night times are ok.  He had a few feeding strikes, but I knew he wouldn't starve himself, so I haven't been too worried.  This past week he hit 12 weeks old and I'm noticing his size 000 clothes getting a bit tighter.  I'm sure by this age Dylan was barely into 000!  Tristan has been smiling so much, and I
